Do you accept recent college graduates and entry-level
employees?
BB&A accepts talented candidates from a wide-range
of experience levels. Candidates include recent college
graduates
and entry-level
employees just venturing into the industry to seasoned
professionals looking for new challenges in a dynamic work
environment.
At BB&A we are proud of our mentoring system. Senior
staff members enjoy mentoring junior staff in a challenging
and interactive
learning environment.
What are the education requirements for employment?
Education is of great importance at BB&A. A Bachelor's
degree in an engineering discipline from a four-year accredited
university is expected for all incoming engineering professionals.
A candidate with a Master's degree in an engineering discipline
is desirable.
Professional licensing is of ultimate importance at BB&A. We
require engineering staff to have earned at least an Engineering
Intern (EI) license. BB&A seeks team members with Professional
Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) licenses.
Does BB&A recruit at college career fairs?
We visit college career fairs each year to recruit and interview
potential candidates for full-time positions and internships.
We strive to make students feel comfortable and prepare them
for the
interviewing process. Career fairs are an excellent opportunity
for students to learn more about BB&A and ask questions of
staff.
How does BB&A encourage training and professional
development?
At BB&A, we encourage all members of the staff to grow professionally
within their field. This can be accomplished through participating
in professional society or continuing education activities, reading
technical periodicals and achieving licensure or other certifications.
Staff members are encouraged to participate as active members
of technical societies and professional organizations.
BB&A believes that employee participation in continuing education
programs such as seminars, training programs, independent study
or other coursework enhances the team member's ability to
grow professionally and contribute to the firm.
What is the application process?
The application process is the same for both employment and
the internship program at BB&A.
We do not accept phone calls regarding employment opportunities.
