Firm Announces New Structural Engineer
Chicago, IL - January 19, 2006
- Bowman,
Barrett & Associates Inc. (BB&A) announces the appointment of
Ian Yi-Ming Lan, Ph.D., PE, to the position of Structural Engineer.
Lan's expertise includes the planning and design of bridge and highway
reconstruction projects. His typical duties will include bridge inspections,
bridge condition reports, drainage studies, hydraulic reports and pavement design.
Lan previously served as a Civil/Structural Engineer for six years with Lin
Engineering, Ltd. in Springfield and Chicago, Illinois. Lan is a licensed
professional engineer in California and Ohio. He earned his Ph.D. in Civil
Engineering from Purdue University, his MS in Civil Engineering from the
Ohio State University and his BS in Civil Engineering from National
Taipei Institute of Technology in Taipei, Taiwan.
