Firm Announces New Vice President
Chicago, IL - January 30, 2006
- Bowman, Barrett & Associates Inc. (BB&A) announces the promotion of Richard Stafford, PE,
Stafford joined the firm in 2003 as Civil Engineering Department Manager. He specializes in Phase I planning and
Phase II design aspects of transportation engineering, with a concentration on alternatives development
and plan preparation for complex freeway systems and urban arterial systems.
Stafford earned a BSCE from Michigan Technological University and is a registered
professional engineer in Illinois. As a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers,
Stafford co-authored "Geometric Design of Highways," a chapter in The Traffic Engineering Handbook,
5th Edition. He also serves on the Transportation Research Board.
