BB&A’s Railroad Department specializes in providing our clients with innovative and cost-effective bridge and track design. With over 100 years of collective experience and an outstanding reputation throughout the industry, our design team brings their expertise to a wide range of railroad projects varying in size and complexity.
Numbered among BB&A’s clients are Class 1 railroads, commuter rail systems, and public agencies.

A number of our railroad engineers serve on American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA) committees. We encourage AREMA membership and believe that it is an excellent opportunity for our engineers to assist the railroad industry to improve its infrastructure. AREMA involvement also ensures our clients that the BB&A team is always familiar with current railroad standards and new industry technology.
