FAI Route 57: Little Calumet River to I-94

IDOT contracted Bowman, Barrett & Associates Inc. to provide Phase III services for the resurfacing and rehabilitation of I-57 at the Little Calumet River to I-94. This two-year project included mainline resurfacing along I-57, rehabilitation of six major structures, cross street improvements, and dynamic message systems.
Phase III services on the project included:
- Construction inspection and coordination for all demolition and construction
- Contract administration and documentation, including ICORS
- On-site materials testing
- Materials quality assurance testing
- Surveying
- Landscaping, erosion control monitoring and reporting
- Traffic control and maintenance monitoring and reporting
