FAI Route 80 (I-80): I-55 to Route 47

Bowman, Barrett & Associates Inc. provided Phase III services for the I-80 rehabilitation from approximately I-55 to Route 47. This three-year project included the total reconstruction of the eastbound and westbound mainline, shoulders, ramps, rest areas, four mainline structures and one auxiliary road structure. Our team also provided oversight for the landscaping, drainage and right-of-way fencing rehabilitation for the project.
BB&A provided Phase III engineering services for the project, including:
- Construction inspection and coordination for all demolition and construction
- Contract administration and documentation, including ICORS
- On-site materials testing
- Materials quality assurance testing
- Surveying
- Landscaping, erosion control monitoring and reporting
- Traffic control and maintenance monitoring and reporting
