Joseph Abruzzo, PE, SE
Senior Project Manager/Senior Associate
Mr. Abruzzo is a Structural Engineer specializing in the design, inspection, evaluation and structural analysis of railroad and bridge projects. He joined the firm in 1993. His specific responsibilities include supervising staff engineers and technicians and ensuring compliance with codes and standards.

Mr. Abruzzo earned an MSCE and a BSCE from the University of Illinois. He is a registered professional engineer and a licensed structural engineer in Illinois. He is affiliated with the American Railway Engineering, Maintenance of Way Association (AREMA), Committee 9: Seismic Design for Railway Structures and Committee 15: Steel Structures.

Christos Bilissis
Senior Associate
Mr. Bilissis joined Bowman, Barrett & Associates Inc. (BB&A) in 2003 as a structural engineer following a 26 year career (including 14 years as Structural Division Head) with the Cook County Highway Department (CCHD). Mr. Bilissis' general structural and civil engineering experience includes supervision, design of new structures, construction procedures for the rehabilitation of existing structures, inspection of all types of highway structures, and preparation of estimates for proposed projects.

Mr. Bilissis earned a BSCE from Illinois Institute of Technology. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Illinois and Wisconsin, and a registered Structural Engineer in Illinois. His affiliations include Structural Engineers Association of Illinois (SEAOI), American Public Works Association (APWA), Pre-stressed Concrete Institute (PCI), American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), American Concrete Institute (ACI), and National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE).

Since joining BB&A, Mr. Bilissis serves as the Design Review Manager for the O’Hare Modernization Program.

Jason Loo, PE, SE
Senior Project Manager/Senior Associate
Mr. Loo is a Structural Engineer specializing in the design of residential, industrial, commercial and institutional buildings. He joined the firm in 1996.

Mr. Loo earned an MSCE and a BSCE from the University of Illinois. He is a registered professional engineer in Indiana and a licensed structural engineer in Illinois. His affiliations include the American Concrete Institute (ACI), the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and the Structural Engineers Association of Illinois (SEAOI).
