Bowman, Barrett & Associates Inc. was retained by the Illinois Tollway to perform Construction Management for the improvement of the Tri-State Tollway (I-294) from Dempster to Touhy Avenues.
Project includes roadway, bridge widening, interchange improvements, and ramp modifications.
Project scope includes removal and replacement and new profile of three existing traffic lanes and the addition of a fourth lane, removal and replacement of 12 mainline structure decks, installation of sound and retaining walls, new lighting, new drainage, earth excavation and embankment.
BB&A performed the following tasks:
- On-site inspection
- Review layout of contract including design changes
- Preparation of records and documentation maintenance
- Submittal of pay estimates and change orders
