60,000- square-foot Culinary and Hospitality Center on the College of DuPage’s campus to house new and expanded kitchens, bakeshops and a market for Culinary Arts, casual and fine dining facilities, TV studios, a bar, large meeting rooms, training labs, a wellness room for Hotel and Lodging programs, outdoor terraces and a new state-of-the-art multimedia center and amphitheater.

100,000 sq. ft., 2 story school with mechanical basement and multipurpose gymnasium.
Barbour Magnet School. Client: DeStefano & Partners.
90,000-square- foot, two-story grade (K-8) school. The campus occupies nine acres. Composite structural steel beams and open web steel joists created an efficient design for the multi-use facility. 60-foot-long steel joist spans allowed for a column-free room for use as a cafeteria/special events space. The sloped-roof profile in the gymnasium provides students with an architecturally-pleasing recreational space.
YMCA at Logan Square. Client: Primera Engineers and Architects.
47,000-square-foot YMCA facility. Steel beams and columns were mixed with load-bearing masonry walls to provide an efficient structural system to accommodate the various uses required for a range of athletics. The facility houses fitness and racquetball rooms, a gymnasium, locker rooms and a dedicated space for day care services.
