A newly-reconstructed Indianapolis Boulevard now features turning lanes and two signalized interchanges to streamline traffic and provide safer and easier access to and from the Skyway. In addition, the lower profile of the new structure eliminated numerous structural columns and enabled the introduction of a tunnel to allow westbound access to the Skyway from Indianapolis Boulevard.
