  • BB&A Announces New Associate

    Robert Anderson, PE, SE has been promoted to Associate. Robert joined BB&A after graduation from the University of Illinois with a BSCE in 2003 and an MSCE in 2005. He graduated from DePauw University with a BA in Economics in 2001. Robert has performed work for numerous Class I railroad and Metra as a structural railroad bridge engineer.

    John Leary, PE, SE has been promoted to Associate. John joined BB&A in 2005 as a structural engineer. He graduated from University of Illinois with an MSCE in 2005 and BSCE in 2004. John has worked as a structural engineer on both building and railroad bridge projects.

    Oscar Coronado,PE has been promoted to Associate. Oscar joined BB&A in June of 2002. He earned his BSCE degree in 2002 from the University of Illinois. Oscar?s experience includes design work and construction management for clients including; IDOT, Illinois Tollway, and City of Chicago.

    Andrew Cecchi joins BB&A from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. His primary focus of study is Construction Management with a secondary emphasis on Sustainable and Resilient Infrastructure Systems. Andrew previously worked as a Construction Inspection Intern with HR Green in Yorkville, IL. He was a member of the ASCE Steel Bridge Team and Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. Andrew is currently helping in the office and will join the Construction Management Department in the Spring.

    Rebecca Wingate joins BB&A after working for CN Railway from 2008-2014. At CN Rebecca worked as a Bridge Quality Inspector, Design & Construction Project Engineer and Bridge Design Engineer. Rebecca is a recipient of the Fullbright Research Fellowship and spent a year in Geneva Switzerland studying ?Lean Management for Railway Infrastructure Projects?. She received her MS Construction Engineering and Management from Illinois Institute of Technology in 2012 and her BSCE from University of Illinois in 2008. Rebecca will be working as a structural engineer in the railroad department.

    Calvin Austiff joins BB&A from the University of Southern Illinois where he received his MS in Civil Engineering in 2014. He got his BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2013. Prior to joining BB&A, he worked as a Technical Intern at the Illinois Department of Transportation, Engineering Intern at the Illinois Department of Transportation, and
    Civil Engineering Intern at Hanson Professional Services, Inc. in Springfield, Illinois.
