Firm Announces New Vice President
Chicago, IL – December 22, 2003 - Bowman, Barrett & Associates
Inc. (BB&A) announces the promotion of Brian
Umbright, PE, SE, from the
position of Assistant Vice President to Vice President. Umbright joined the
firm in 1994 as a structural engineer. In his role, he supervises staff engineers
and technicians, ensures compliance with codes and standards and reviews plans
and specifications for clarity, conciseness and completeness.
Umbright earned an MSCE and a BSCE from the University of Illinois.
He is a registered professional engineer and a licensed structural
engineer in Illinois.
His affiliations include memberships in the American Concrete Institute,
the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Consulting Engineering
Council of
Illinois and the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute.
