The BB&A construction management services department
maintains a commitment to excellence on all projects, from the
smallest to the largest tasks. Our staff is very versatile – they
are easily able to transition from highly-specialized projects
to more routine tasks. Many team members are also able to cross
over to other disciplines to provide assistance when needed.
Education and training is very important for our construction staff.
Examples of this training include:
- National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies
(NICET) short courses
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensing
- Engineering Intern (EI)
licensing
Furthermore, the construction team continues their education
by taking certification courses offered through the Illinois
Department
of Transportation (IDOT), the American Concrete Institute (ACI)
and various specialized equipment training courses. These courses
have assisted staff in staying current with state construction
standards, learning about new industry technology and encouraging
innovative thinking on complex projects.
